Admission Information
I. Bachelor Degree Programs
1. Program Introduction: Students are required to complete the curriculum between 4 to 6 years and fulfill the designated number of credits. Upon graduation, students will receive a graduation certificate along with bachelor’s degree.
2. Application Prerequisites: Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens above the age of 18 and under the age of 30, and have attained a senior high school diploma.
3. Application Materials:
(1) NUC Application Form for International Students (Undergraduate Program)
(2) Senior high school graduation diploma (students expecting to graduate should provide an official letter stating expected graduation date) which should be original documents or notarized copies in Chinese or English.
(3) Official transcripts of your academic achievement up to the present, including courses taken and standard achieved (original documents or notarized copies in Chinese or English)
(4) One photocopy of your valid passport.
(5) Four passport-sized photos.
Note: Your applications and documents will not be returned.
4. When to Apply: Before June of each year.
5. Where to Apply: International Office, NUC
6. Application Fee: The application form should be accompanied by an application fee of 400 RMB, which is not refundable.
7. Admission: Admission will be determined according to educational background. If admitted, the University will send you the "Admission Notice" as well as the "Visa Application Form for Foreigners (Form JW202)" by the end of July.
8. Registration Period: September of each year (specified in the Admission Notice)
II. Master Degree and Ph.D. Degree Programs
1. Programs Introduction:
Master’s program: Students are required to complete the curriculum between 2-3 years, fulfill the designated number of credits, complete the master’s thesis and defend it in front of a panel of experts. Graduates will receive a graduation certificate along with Master’s degree.
Doctorate program: Students are required to complete the curriculum between 4-6 years, fulfill the designated number of credits, conduct research, complete the doctoral thesis and defend it in front of a panel of experts. Graduates will receive a graduation certificate along with doctoral degree.
2. Application Prerequisites:
Master's program:Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens under the age of 40, and have attained a bachelor's degree.
Doctorate program:Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens under the age of 45, and have attained a master's degree.
3. Application Materials:
(1) NUC Application Form for International Students (Master and Ph.D. Programs).
(2) A personal résumé (about 400 characters for master program, about 800 characters for doctorate program in Chinese).
(3) Graduation certificate and degree diploma (students expecting to graduate should provide an official letter stating expected graduation date), which must be original documents or notarized copies either in Chinese or English.
(4) Official transcripts of your academic achievement up to the present, including courses taken and standard achieved, must be original documents or notarized copies either in Chinese or English.
(5) One photocopy of your valid passport.
(6) Four passport-sized photos
